By filling out this form, my child’s name will go on the Waiting List. I will be contacted when a suitable position becomes available. This form does not guarantee that my child will be offered a position.

Taree and District Preschool is a not-for-profit, community-based service; all funds are invested back into the service. We are committed to ensuring our fees are as affordable as possible and that families can access any available subsidies to reduce costs. For information on current fees, don't hesitate to contact the preschool.

If you wish to visit the preschool, you can contact us to arrange an appointment for a tour.

Currently, children aged three to five can access two free preschool days each week.

The state government funds the Start Strong / Affordable Preschool for Community Preschools programme.

Research shows that at least two days of preschool results in better school outcomes for children before school commencement.

Families can elect to receive two days of free preschool at Taree and District Preschool if they complete the fee relief form during enrolment (subject to funding).

Steps for enrolment

Our administration will contact you if a position becomes available.

If a position becomes available:

- We will contact you to organise an enrolment package.
- We will send you an information booklet (containing policies and procedures).

An enrolment is confirmed when we have received:

- All completed forms (eg enrolment form, medical plans if applicable).
- Up to date immunisation records.
- Birth certificate.
- Fee relief form.

We encourage families to complete an orientation of the preschool after confirmation of enrolment. This allows the child to become familiar with the preschool and its educators.
